Hypercholesterolemia
Hypercholesterolemia is a condition where a person has high cholesterol in their blood. Cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance your body needs in small amounts, but too much—especially “bad” cholesterol (LDL)—can build up inside your blood vessels.
